FAQ 2: It seems impossible to make $20 to $100 per hour with you. Answer 2: It is happening now. We have plenty of members making $20 to $100 per hour right now. You can too! You will make more than $20 to $100 per hour if you are really good and follow our instructions. Less if you're slower or not as motivated. (Hint: members make more than $100 per hour by writing about ad offers with Writearn™.) |
FAQ 4: How will I get paid?
| ...since Feb. 13, 2000. Click to verify!
| Answer 4: PaymentKey makes member payments via PayPal or check by mail. For PayPal we "email" your payments to your PayPal email address. If you are unfamiliar with how this works, here is PayPal's explanation. PayPal is 100% secure and regulated by the US Treasury Dept., and is an eBay company.
Click here to open a free Paypal account now. (If someday you might use PayPal with your business, use this PayPal page.)
PaymentKey has no minimum earnings balance for payments via PayPal. If you make $100.00 today with ad offers that show "Days Until Payment: 5", then we will pay you $100.00 in five days. By the way, once you have funds in your PayPal account, you can ask PayPal to mail you a check at any time for a fee of $1.50, or transfer the funds to your bank account for free. |
In order to get paid, you must indicate your payment method preference on your My Profile page in the "Payment Information" section.
If you prefer payment by check, please enter your payment address on your My Profile page, and delete any data in the PayPal field. We will mail your check once a total of your "Pending Payments", with a "Payment Date*" of today or before, exceeds $30. (Please login and view your Payment Status Report for the "Pending Payments" and "Payment Date*" data.) Check payments to non-US destinations will incur an additional $10 fee.
Here are two other payment-related FAQs: FAQ 5 and FAQ 6. |

FAQ 7: How can I be sure that my personal information will be kept secure?
|
|
Answer 7: First, a common misconception about PaymentKey is that we take payments from you, charge a fee, or ever take your credit card number. WE DO NOT. We only pay you. You never make payments to us.
For example, if you want to use PaymentKey to get Shopping Cash-back from Wal-mart.com, you would login to PaymentKey.com, click on the Wal-mart logo, and then you go to Wal-mart.com's website and make your purchase there, totally separately from PaymentKey.com. Then Wal-mart sends us a commission for your purchase, and we split it with you!
Within the PaymentKey.com website
On the Internet, people are commonly worried about giving out personal information. This is understandable. With PaymentKey.com you have no reason for concern. PaymentKey has taken careful steps to ensure that all your personal information is kept secure.
7.1. We will never share any your personal information with anyone else. Please read our Privacy Policy.
7.2. Your personal information is kept secure with 128-bit SSL encryption, plus a host of other advanced security features.
7.3. We are a member of the BBBOnline Reliability Program. Click on the image to the left to verify.
Using ad offer links that direct you outside the PaymentKey.com website
When you click on an ad offer, you are sent to the advertiser's website outside of the PaymentKey.com website. Each of these ad offers has:
7.4 systems or guarantees of information security (using for examples SSL certificate authentication, BBBOnline membership, Verisign membership, etc.), and…
7.5 a way for you to verify the authenticity and safety of each website -- just as we already and carefully have done for each ad offer.
However, if for some reason you don't trust a particular advertiser's credentials, then you are always free to move on to the next PaymentKey ad offer.
Let's use as an example the ad offer from Revolution MoneyExchange ("RME") in your Ad Offers page. Click on the banner ad. A new page opens. This is RME's website. There is no connection between RME and PaymentKey's website other than the tracking code discussed in FAQ 16 and 6. RME is just an advertiser with PaymentKey just like you'd see on Yahoo or wherever.
Now, on the RME Web page, after clicking the "Sign up now" link, you will see the yellow padlock image . The location of the padlock depends on which browser you are using. means that the Web page is secure with an authenticated SSL certificate and is not fraudulent nor spoofed. Click here for a good, not too complicated explanation on how to use SSL and certificates to verify that a Web page is not fraudulent. (.pdf, Acrobat required)
Some ad offer websites do not display the yellow padlock, but instead give you security from other organizations such as those shown on the left. You can click on each of these logos for an explanation of how each helps ensure that your information is kept secure. | |
